The Boltons is less of a district and more of a shanty town that swaddles Newtown up to the height of Spookfall. All manner of buildings and structures have been bolted onto the outer surface of Newtown, connected by a mess of walkways, ladders and ramps. The occupants are among the poorest in Newtown, and life here is hard – ‘shantyslides’ resulting from structural fatigue are not uncommon.
