The Sons of Romulus (or Romulans) are dogboys descended from mutant survivors of the CAN colonies who have embraced the worship of Romulus, and believe that they are destined to discover his tomb and restore him to life so that the darkness of Olympus can be defeated. They have founded a community of dogboys and other mutants in Galle crater, and their symbol is the smiley face.
