The Church of Ares is the largest religion in Newtown, dedicated to Ares, the god of war. Warriors from across the Splinterzone come to the church to seek the favour of Ares or join the order and train in the extensive complex that dominates Hallowheight. The Church of Ares appears to accept all species, but favours the pursuit of maximum combat effectiveness through rigourous training rather than augmentation.
