The Black Hill Army is an amalgamation of various raider and slaver crews who have become organised and started carving out a territory in the Martian wastes. One of their main operating posts is Low Fan, and they recently conquered the keep at High Arch, a settlement allied to Newtown. The Black Hill Army has since been encroaching on Newtown territory, decimating small settlements with some form of powered armour.

One of the known commanders of the Black Hill Army is Plisken, and many of his men have demonstrated a fanatical loyalty, killing themselves with fusion charges rather than surrendering to the enemy.
